Data Deletion

Because Soul uses end‑to‑end encryption, we cannot decrypt your notes. You can delete your data at any time:

Delete from this device

1. Open the extension → Settings → Data → Delete local data.
2. Optional: Clear Chrome’s site data for soul.nysaclan.xyz to remove cached encrypted blobs.

Delete from sync

1. Settings → Sync → Delete all synced data (irreversible).
2. This deletes your encrypted blobs stored on our servers. Without your key they were unreadable, but they will be removed entirely.

Account deletion

Email support@soul.nysaclan.xyz from the address used to purchase your license with the subject “Delete account”. We’ll erase account metadata and support threads except records we must retain for legal/accounting.
